Want to retire in Salida? A recent study by Smart-Asset listed Salida in the top three places to retire in Colorado. The New York financial and technology company based the information on tax friendliness, recreational and social opportunities for seniors, and availability of medical care.
Littleton and Englewood ranked first and second respectively.
Numbers that helped Salida maintain its spot at No. 3 for consecutive years included the number of doctors’ offices per 1,000 people at 5.3. Also, Salida has 2.8 recreation centers per 1,000 people.
I think we could all agree that retiring to this view would be spectacular.
