Downtown Salida

There is nothing quite like Christmas in downtown Salida.  Small towns have a way of bringing the quaint spirit of Christmas.  Start your day in downtown Salida with a warm cup of coffee and a bite at Brown Dog Coffee.  They make a mean latte, smoothie, pastry or even ice cream.

Next stop, Fat Tees.  They are Salida Colorado’s premier T-shirt shop and screenprinting service, and purveyors of unique and interesting garments worn around the world!  You may find something clever for someone hard to buy for on your list.

Fringe, located on F Street in downtown Salida is, by their own definition, a playground for creative minds.  Their window indicates the creativeness happening inside.

A few doors down, you can find most anything at Salida Five and Dime.   Their festive window and outside display contain everything from bears, to holly.  Kind of like what is inside.  Old time candy, trinkets, Colorado souvenirs and cards. The perfect stocking stuffers reside in this unique store.

 

The Mixing Bowl is our hometown gourmet kitchen store. They carry our favorite chocolates, cookware and most anything you need in the Kitchen. The foodie in your life would appreciate a gift from this specialty store.  They also provide jobs for special needs adults.  Giving the adults and their families a sense of purpose. Located right on the corner of 2nd and F Street.  Stop on in, there are always samples for sampling.

A few doors down is Free the Monkey, a consignment clothing store.  You never know what you might find.
