The Salida Hot Springs Aquatic Center has re-0pened after undergoing two months of renovations. The Aquatic Center offers a large 25-meter pool at 84-86 degrees, private soaking pools and a smaller, hotter soaking and play pool.
The Aquatic Center uses natural hot springs water that comes into the pools at 114 degrees.
Regular admission is $11 for an adult, $9 for seniors and active or retired members of the military, $5 for children 6-17 years old and $3 for children 5 years old and younger. The center also has several discounted rate options that can be found on its website.
Private soaking pools, which are only for people 18 years of age or older, cost $12 for an hour for one person. Each additional person, up to a total of four, pays $6 and there are discounts for seniors and active or retired members of the military.
