Snowstorm in the Heart of the Rockies

Snowstorm in the Heart of the Rockies.  Early in the week snow dumped over the area.  School was cancelled and many inconvenienced.  What a difference a day makes.  Bluebird sky and sunshine make for spectacular day and beautiful views.  The first photo is of Salida Golf Club.  The next couple are of the Akransas River running through Salida.  Next photo depicts how hard it is to waddle in the snow.  Sands Lake is beautiful with snow covered edges.  The final photo depicts the historic smokestack from Salida’s old smelter.
